It’s that time of year again and we have set the subs for next year. You will be pleased to know that the cost will be the same as last year.
If you are wanting to race away and have entry to the track over the school holidays these will need to be paid before 18th December so they can get to BMXNZ in time to be processed.
Just be aware that BMXNZ also close down before Christmas until the middle of January, so if you want to race away in January, you need to renew your licence as soon as possible to make sure it is processed in time. Ideally I would like to have most of the licences to BMXNZ by 18th December at the very latest. The first batch in January will not be processed until the 13th.
Please note that you must be licenced BEFORE entries close for any race meet you want to attend.
For any new members I will require a COPY of a birth certificate or passport before I can send your licence to BMXNZ.
I have attached a 2015 licence forms and gate entry form that you can print out and have filled in ready to bring to club night. Can you please fill in a gate form per rider or per family if more than one rider from the same family. Also the info form for all your contact details so we can keep our records up to date.
For the kids that turn 8 next year, you have to choose between a Club or an Open Licence. With a Club licence, you can only ride at club nights. If you want to race at race meets on the BMXNZ calendar, then you will need an Open licence.
If you get a Club licence and then decide that you would like to do race meets then you can upgrade to an Open licence for another $45.
For 7 & unders you have to get a Sprocket Licence which includes a number plate. You are able to race at any race meet on the BMXNZ calendar just like an Open licence.
We are also offering a Strider Licence. This is going to be for riders that are on strider bikes or 12" pedal bikes that start on the table top by the points hut and are 4 years & under. This licence will NOT include a number plate or sprocket training. Once the rider is going from the start ramp they will have to upgrade to a Sprocket Licence for another $45.

Taupo Strider Licence $35 (uci age 4yrs and under)
BMXNZ Open Licence $105 (uci age 8yrs and over)
BMXNZ Sprocket Licence $80 (uci age 7yrs and under)
BMXNZ Club Licence $60 (uci age 8yrs and over)
Upgrade from Club to Open $45
Upgrade from Strider to Sprocket $45
This year the committee has decided to offer a family discount. If you have 3 or more riders from the same family there will be a 10% discount.
All these fees run from 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2015 and include access into the track.
