It has been another successful year for the 2011 ‘Team Taupo’ junior sport scholarship squad. Chris Smith (organiser of the scholarship) was very proud of the way the 19 strong squad members had competed and represented the Taupo community in results and as role models over the past ten months.
On Tuesday evening, the “Team Taupo” squad, families sponsors and invited guests attended the “Team Taupo” end of year function at Lava Rock cafe to celebrate the success among these 19 young people.
