Practice and Racing times – BMX Nationals

Here are all the important times and details for the 2013 Nationals this Easter weekend:

NUMBER PLATES:

Number Plates will be issued by Club Team Managers.
Riders holding a NZ, Oceania or World ranking of 1- 8 may choose to enter the meeting using this ranking.

REGISTRATION:

Mighty 11 - Test Team Selection Riders 8:00 – 8:30 am - Friday
BMX New Zealand Summer Series Riders 8:00 – 8:30 am - Friday

All other classes:

Club Team Managers only to attend:
Thursday 28 March 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Friday 29 March 9.00 am to 10.00 am

OFFICIAL OPENING CEREMONY & MARCH PAST – FRIDAY:

12.30 pm - Clubs assemble behind the commentating Tower.
12.45 pm - March Past.
1.00 pm - Opening Ceremony and speeches.

PRACTICE TIMES – WITH GATES:

FRIDAY:

TRACK IS CLOSED FROM 7.00 am except for:

Group 1) All Cruiser Classes
9.25 – 9.55 am & 2.10 – 2.50 pm

(Group 2) 4&U – 9 year 20” classes
10.45 – 11.15 am & 2.50 – 3.30 pm

(Group 3) 10 – 14 year 20” classes
11.25 – 11.55 am & 3.30 – 4.10 pm

(Group 4) 15 and over 20” classes
1.30 – 2.10 pm & 4.10 – 4.50 pm

(Group 5) Junior, Elite & Superclass
4.50 - 5.30 pm

Mighty 11’s – Selection – 8.15 - 9.00am
BMX New Zealand Summer Series - 10.05 - 10.35am

PRACTICE TIMES – WITHOUT GATES:

SATURDAY:
9.00 –9.40 am: Challenge Riders 12 & Under (20” & Cruiser).
9.40 -10.20 am: Challenge Riders 13 & Over (20” & Cruiser).
10.20 - 10.50 am: Championship (Junior/Elite) & Superclass only.
The Championship session may include gates.

SUNDAY:
7.15 – 7.50am: Challenge Riders 12 & Under (20” & Cr).
7.50 - 8.25 am: Challenge Riders 13 & Over (20” & Cr).
8.15 - 8.45 am: Championship classes & Superclass.

RACING START TIMES:

FRIDAY: MIGHTY 11 TEST TEAM ONLY
Moto 1 9.15 am
Moto 2 9.55am
Moto 3 10.35am
Moto 4 11.15 am
Semi 11.55 am (if req’d)
Final 12.25 pm
Mighty 11 team presentations will be made at the Opening.

BMX NEW ZEALAND SUMMER SERIES
Moto 1 10.35 am

SATURDAY: 11.00 am – all classes
