It’s that time of year again and we have set the subs for next year. We have done this a littler earlier this year so everyone can sort their December/January budgets.
If you are wanting to race and have entry to the track over the Christmas school holidays these will need to be paid early so they can get to BMXNZ in time to be processed and also I will be away for 2-3 weeks from the 18th December.
Just be aware that the Club closes down before Christmas until almost the end of January, so if you want to race away in Januray or early February, you need to renew your licence as soon as possible to make sure it is processed in time. Ideally I would like to have most of the licences to BMXNZ by 14th December at the very latest.
I have attached a 2016 licence forms and gate entry form that you can print out and have filled in ready to bring to club night. Can you please fill in a gate form per rider or per family if more than one rider from the same family. We also have a form for all your contact details so we can keep our records up to date.

For the kids that turn 8 next year, you have to choose between a Club or a Challenge Licence. With a Club licence, you can only ride at club nights. If you want to race at race meets on the BMXNZ calendar, then you will need a Challenge licence.
If you get a Club licence and then decide that you would like to do race meets then you can upgrade to a Challenge licence for another $45.
For 7 & unders you have to get a Sprocket Licence which includes a number plate. You are able to race at any race meet on the BMXNZ calendar just like a Challenge licence.
We also offer a Strider Licence. This is for riders that are on strider bikes or 12" pedal bikes that start on the table top by the points hut and are 4 years & under. This licence will NOT include a number plate or sprocket training. Once the rider is going from the start ramp they will have to upgrade to a Sprocket Licence for another $45.
2016 LICENCE FEES
Taupo Strider Licence $35 (uci age 4yrs and under)
BMXNZ Challenge Licence $105 (uci age 8yrs and over)
BMXNZ Sprocket Licence $80 (uci age 7yrs and under)
BMXNZ Club Licence $70 (uci age 8yrs and over)
Upgrade from Club to Challenge $45
Upgrade from Strider to Sprocket $45
There will be a 10% discount for families with 3 or more riders
All these fees run from 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016 and include access into the track.
If you are a new rider and not wanting to race at any BMXNZ 2015 race meets then you may go straight to getting a 2016 licence and this will cover the rest of our club nights/training for 2015.
I will be starting to process 2016 licences from the 2nd of November but you can start paying before that if you want to. 2016 Licence cards will not be available until BMXNZ start printing them sometime in December.
