Hi everyone, please e mail rego @ taupobmx.org.nz with your pre entry for this Sunday’s Winter series race Meet at the Taupo track. Registration from 12 noon until 12.45, racing at 1pm. Cost $3 per rider. All the other Central Plateau BMX clubs involved (Gisborne, Rotorua, Tauranga and Hawkes Bay) have been asked to do the same so we have an idea of numbers on the day.
Taupo is the only club that includes a half track ride for the young ones (table toppers) and we plan to include them in our race day on Sunday as pre racers. Please note that because they do not complete the track and are assisted by adults their points will not contribute toward earning individual or club points.
Annette has kindly offered her organisational skills for the track shop this Sunday. It is an important fundraiser for the club, not to mention a useful service to us and our many visitors expected. We need more volunteers to help out in the shop so it is not the same group of people doing everything on the day. We all have children racing that we are keen to watch. Remember that we can use one adult to watch many children in between races and our kids all know the rules/ boundaries at Taupo BMX.
I have my newer computer back from the manufacturer and a big fixit job and have found that I have lost my entire contacts list. Can you please reply to me at wattsup@xtra.co.nz so I can save your address onto a new Taupo BMX distribution list in my good as new (had better be) computer. Many members will not receive this e mail so could you please update any members you know with the information contained in this e mail.
