June Newsletter

Welcome to our June Newsletter

Track Lights/Irrigation

You may have notice that there have been new poles and lights installed at the track. These are 95% completed and we are just waiting on the Electrician to finish the hookup and it should be complete.
A big thanks goes out to those parents who donated their time and skills to help with this project and the Taupo BMX Club committee would like to give a special thanks to JA Russell for their support with the supply of electrical goods for this project and also to Antz Electrical for his help in the hookup and sign off for the electrical work.

Wonky Trenching

While we were trenching for the lights, we also installed piping for water supply to the track. Again, we would like to thank Hynds Pipes for their support to the Taupo BMX Club. Without them, it would not have been possible. There is still a bit to do to complete, but is not far away.

Gate and Lighting fees for training

It has been decided that to offset costs associated with the gate and the track lights outside of normal club days or nights, that we will now be requesting a gold coin donation.  This brings us in line with other clubs who also charge at gate sessions.  The donation is to be made to a committee member on the day or night.

SUBS/Club Membership

A reminder that if your child has had their three free nights and wishes to continue to ride at the club, then you must pay membership fees.  This all helps to run the club and a portion has to go to BMX NZ.
